As we mature, growth comes with great responsibilities and
even more difficult challenges. But the most important thing to remember is
that without experience there is no knowledge. My interviews with the incoming freshman reminded me of how human we all are. No matter what the occasion or
situation, there is always going to be some sort of expectations or doubt
already placed in your mind going into something you are not familiar with.
However, it is important to remember the advice given to us and face each
challenge with an open and strong mind. You never know what the outcome can be.

Out Of Class #3 Preview
Students
beginning their college journey usually go into the experience with a mindset
full of premeditated thoughts and expectations. These expectations derive from
things they may have seen on television or heard from others who have already
experienced college life. Regardless of whether or not ones expectations are
high or low, the journey always comes with unexpected obstacles that leave an
everlasting impression on the individual. These impressions, positive or
negative, can later assist with future life decisions related to relationships,
family, career(s), or finances. College is about growth and soul searching.
There is no blueprint for how you’re supposed to properly go through the
experience. It is up to you to make the best decisions that will help shape
your future.

Blog New Media #1- Post Review
Towards the end of each show, Kevyn and her mom reflect on
their favorite segment during the show. Kevyn’s favorite part of Good MorningAmerica is usually any contest they have or celebrity appearance, while
Sandra’s favorite part is anything involving food. Each morning they anticipate
what will happen next during their favorite GMA segments. While commercial
breaks are their least favorite thing to watch, those breaks allow time for
bathroom breaks, time to grab more food, and time to easily check their social
media networks without missing a beat. Next up is Live! With Kelly and Michael.
Let’s see what sort of vacation they give away today!
Blog New Media #1- Preview
Almost everyday around 7:45am during summer vacation, Kevyn
and her mother Sandra, climb in the bed together in preparation to watch Good Morning America together at 8 o’clock. Kevyn is a full-time student at Michigan
State so whenever she comes home for summer vacation, she makes sure she and
her mother spend quality time together doing the things they enjoy. Sandra
works from home whenever she isn’t flying from state-to-state, which makes this
morning routine rather easy. Good Morning America is only one of many morning
shows Kevyn and her mother enjoy watching. They also enjoy watching Live! with Kelly andMichael, Dr. Oz, and The Wendy Williams Show. Occasionally, Sandra will make
breakfast smoothies or her infamous breakfast which includes her delicious
pancakes that Kevyn swears by. What a perfect way to start your day!
